The Pink Tulip was started in the Fall of 1986 by Duff and Letty Algren. We started on a shoestring using furniture and items donated by Letty's Mom. Our first store was a gift and home furnishings store on the Southside of Birmingham, Al. As time passed we added small amounts of clothing and eventually the entire store was filled with unique ladies clothing and accessories. Today we are located on 28th Street South in the downtown area of Homewood in Birmingham, Al. and have added a second location on Highway 280 in the Cahaba Village Center in Mountain Brook, Al (between Whole Foods and Diamonds Direct).
